Gardaí quiz man in connection with hit and run

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question a man in connection with a hit-and-run in the city yesterday.

An elderly pensioner was knocked down and killed. The man in his eighties was hit by a car at Dolphin's Barn at around 3pm.

A man in his 20s was arrested and is being held at Kilmainham garda station.

Witnesses are being asked to come forward.
