Hain “extremely disappointed” at Belfast High Court decision

The Northern Secretary, Peter Hain, says he's extremely disappointed that Belfast High Court has ruled he acted unlawfully in appointing two Orangemen to the Parades Commission.

The judge had said it was inexplicable that the appointments panel saw no potential conflict of interest in appointing two Orangemen, and that they may not have understood the job they were doing.
