Church leaders today appealed to Afghan asylum seekers to end their five-day hunger strike in a historic Dublin cathedral.

The Archbishop of Dublin, Archbishop of Armagh, and Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral pleaded with the 41 men to end their protest before things deteriorated.
