Ireland and UK move to close paedophile loophole

The Irish and British governments have moved a step closer this evening to closing loopholes that allow sex offenders to travel freely in opposing jurisdictions.

A memo of understanding has been exchanged between Dublin and London that will lead to changes in the law on both sides of the Irish Sea.
