Minister reminds farmers of single payment closing date

The Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan is urging all farmers to make sure that they get their application for single payment submitted by close of business tomorrow.

The Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan is urging all farmers to make sure that they get their application for single payment submitted by close of business tomorrow.

Minister Coughlan says there are about 20-30,000 applications outstanding and she's calling on those farmers to contact their local department offices.

The Minister says even partially completed forms will be accepted but that the closing date is tomorrow and late entries will be subject to penalties.
