Man dies in stab attack
A murder inquiry was launched today after a man was stabbed to death in Northern Ireland.
The victim, 40, died in hospital following the attack in Coleraine, Co Derry.
Police were called to the scene of the stabbing on Hazelbank Road in the town in the early hours, a spokesman said.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested following the killing.
Meanwhile, two men were being questioned today by detectives investigating a stabbing in Lisburn.
They were arrested after another man was knifed during an attack in the Bridge Street area of the city.
The victim was taken to hospital following the overnight incident but police said his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
They have urged any witnesses to contact detectives investigating the stabbing.
