Minister announces 50,000 new childcare places

The childcare sector is to receive a €5m boost in Government funding, the Minister for Children Brian Lenihan announced today.

The Minister said he intended to create 50,000 new childcare places over the next five years, benefiting over 40 community and private childcare providers.
