A man in his 40s was recovering in hospital today after he was shot in the leg in Limerick.

A man in his 40s was recovering in hospital today after he was shot in the leg in Limerick.

The man was walking in Oliver Plunkett Street in St Mary’s Park when he was attacked at 5am.
