Fianna Fáil up 3% in latest opinion poll
There is good news this evening for Fianna Fáil as the latest Sunday Business Post opinion poll, to be published tomorrow, shows support for the party is up by 3%.
Support for Fine Gael and Sinn Féin is down but the other parties are holding their own.
Fianna Fáil's reclaiming of this year’s 1916 celebrations may be one of the reasons for a jump in popularity.
The Sunday Business Posts latest opinion poll carried out by RedC marketing shows support for the party at 38%.
However, this is still behind the level of support they garnered in the last election in 2002.
Fine Gael is down two points at 23% and the party is now back to their popularity levels from the general election.
Labour is steady at 11%.
Sinn Féin is down three to 8%, while the Greens are on 7%, the PDs on 4%, and 11% of people polled were for the independents.
