Energy efficiency NCT for buildings proposed at PD conference

The Progressive Democrats are proposing the equivalent of an NCT test on buildings to preserve energy.

The call was made at the party's annual conference which is taking place this weekend in Limerick city.

PD TD Fiona O'Malley said this morning that a test on commercial buildings above a pre-determined size would held to preserve energy and help to prolong dwindling oil stocks.
