Roads claim another accident victim

A 24-year-old man is the country's latest car crash victim.

He died today at Beaumont Hospital following a two-car collision at Corduff near Lusk in north Co Dublin on March 27.

Meanwhile, a man whose mother was killed when struck while they were walking near Wicklow town last night remains seriously ill in hospital.

And gardaí are appealing for witnesses to last night's fatal head-on collision which claimed the life of a 20-year-old man near Straffan in Co Kildare.
