Mother and son killed in crash

A Dublin mother and her nine-year-old son were killed in a road collision in Blessington, Co Wicklow.

Pamela Boylan, 32, and Thomas Boylan, from Fettercairn, Tallaght, Dublin 24, died following the smash on the N81 at Horsepasstown shortly before 1pm yesterday.

The male driver of the other car involved sustained minor injuries and was taken to Naas General Hospital.
