Consumers expect more house price hikes

Irish consumers are expecting house prices to continue rising steadily in the coming years, according to a survey by IIB Bank and the Economic and Social Research Institute.

The two groups said 80% of respondents to the survey expected prices to continue rising by an average of 6% over the next five years.
