Vomiting bug outbreak sees restrictions put on hospital visits

Visiting restrictions were today put on Cork University Hospital where two adult wards are affected by the winter vomiting virus.

Only a patient’s direct next-of-kin or immediate family are allowed into the hospital in a bid to stop the spreading of the highly infectious bug.
