3,000 body bags to be ordered as bird flu precaution

The Health Service Executive is reportedly preparing to order 3,000 body bags as part of precautions being taken in advance of a potential bird flu outbreak.

The move had been recommended by an expert group appointed to advise on how best to prepare for an outbreak of the virus.
