Nov deadline to be set for deal on power-sharing

The Irish and British governments are expected to give the North's political parties a six-month period from mid-May to reach a deal on restoring devolved government.

Proposals due to be published by the two governments next week will apparently see the Assembly being restored in May without any power-sharing Executive.
