Labour’s annual conference to get underway
The Labour Party is set to unveil a number of pre-election initiatives at its annual conference in Dublin's Helix Centre in the next two days.
The event gets underway this evening and ends tomorrow night, when Pat Rabbitte will make his leader’s address.
Labour is planning to announce a range of initiatives in the areas of crime, policing and health, while fresh plans to tackle childcare costs and rip-off prices will also be discussed.
Labour is also due to present a number of its new election candidates to the media this weekend.
