Four held in relation to gun killing
Four people were arrested today in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old Derryman.
Shea Bradley was found with gunshot wounds in a car in a laneway in Dublin’s north inner city two weeks ago.
He had been on bail after being charged with firearm offences.
A Garda spokesman said officers arrested two men, one woman and one male juvenile today in connection with the murder.
“All four are being detained at Garda stations in West Dublin under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act,” he said.
They can be held for up to 72 hours.
Mr Bradley had been living in Dublin for a number of years. His body was discovered in a laneway off Blackhorse Avenue on March 10 with three gunshot wounds to the upper chest.
The father of two originally came from Knockwellan Park in the Waterside area of Derry city.
His family, who still live there, have said the portrayal of him as a dangerous criminal with paramilitary connections was not the caring and loving son they knew.
