Highly paid TDs missing one-third of all Dáil votes
The country's 166 TDs are reportedly missing an average of one-third of Dáil votes every year, despite receiving €160,000 in pay and expenses.
Reports this morning said the voting record for 2005 showed that MEPs were among the worst offenders due to the fact they are allowed to hold two jobs - one in Dublin and the other in Brussels.
