Expert calls for scrapping of TB vaccinations

The TB vaccination should be scrapped and resources invested in treating the disease instead, a leading expert claimed today.

Dr Tim McDonnell believes the vaccine is a waste of money while funds are desperately needed for isolation wards, specialist staff and treatment for tuberculosis sufferers.
