Counselling to be offered to friends of road-crash victims

The Department of Education is sending psychologists to a school in Co Tipperary that lost two pupils in a road crash yesterday evening.

The teenagers were both killed when they car in which they were travelling crashed into a ditch on the Ballingarry Road near Mullinahone.

The accident happened while they were being driven home to Mullinahone from a school in the Killenaule area.

Local politicians say the community has been devastated by the deaths.
