Brazilian woman held over cocaine haul

Customers officers tonight seized €210,000 worth of cocaine from a Brazilian woman at Dublin Airport.

The 20-year-old woman had arrived on a flight from Sao Paolo, via Madrid and officers conducted a search of her baggage.

A customs spokesman said they discovered approximately three kilos of cocaine valued at €210,000.

The woman was handed over to the Garda National Drug Unit. She is due to appear in court tomorrow in connection with the drugs seizure.
