TUI survey highlights widespread classroom indiscipline

A survey conducted by the Teachers Union of Ireland has reportedly uncovered disturbing levels of violence, bullying and disruption by secondary school students.

Reports this morning said one-fifth of the 1,100 teachers who responded to the survey reported being threatened or intimidated by students at some stage during the previous week.
