Longford councillors seek ways to address C&D job losses

Longford County Council is due to hold a special meeting today to discuss ways to alleviate the effects of the recent job losses at the C&D Foods factory.

More than 280 workers have lost their jobs as a result of the massive fire that almost destroyed the Edgeworthstown plant in January.
