Dr Denis Brennan appointed as new Bishop of Ferns

Pope Benedict XVI has appointed Dr Denis Brennan as the new Bishop of Ferns.

The 60-year-old is currently parish priest in Taghmon and also the Ferns diocesan delegate for child protection.
