The average price paid by first-time home-buyers has surpassed the €250,000 mark for the first time, according to figures published today.

The average price paid by first-time home-buyers has surpassed the €250,000 mark for the first time, according to figures published today.

The latest Permanent TSB/ESRI house price index shows that the average price paid by first-time buyers in January was just over €251,000.
