FG launches fresh attack on penalty points loopholes

Fine Gael has launched a fresh attack on the penalty points system, claiming it is not working because of widespread loopholes in the legislation.

They party has claimed motorists with 12 points are continuing to drive because some gardaí are so confused by the system they do not know how to remove licences from disqualified drivers.
