McCreevy praises Irish openness to EU immigrants

European Commissioner Charlie McCreevy has praised Ireland's openness to immigrants from the newest EU states in a speech to the Forum on Europe in Dublin today.

Ireland was one of just three of the original 15 member states that agreed to grant full access to their labour markets to citizens of the 10 newest states.
