Irish to spend up to €100 on partners for Valentine’s Day

Irish people are planning to spend an average of between €40 and €100 on their partner for Valentine’s Day, according to a survey published today by a leading job recruitment website.

However, the spending could be a complete waste of money as most respondents said they prefer TLC to flowers, chocolate, jewellery or champagne.
