Toddler killed in Dublin crash

A two year-old boy died in a crash in north Co Dublin this afternoon.

The toddler was a passenger in a car that collided with a tractor at Lispopple Cross on the road from Swords to Ashbourne at 3.20pm. He was taken to Temple Street Hospital.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The country's roads have now claimed six lives in the past 24 hours.
