The Red Cross has said it will ensure the millions raised for the tsunami-hit town of Banda Aceh in Indonesia will go directly into crucial reconstruction projects there.

The Red Cross has said it will ensure the millions raised for the tsunami-hit town of Banda Aceh in Indonesia will go directly into crucial reconstruction projects there.

It will cost almost €350m to rebuild the shattered town over the next five years.
