A new study has reportedly found major shortfalls in sex education at Irish secondary schools, possibly due to curriculum overload and exam pressures.

Reports this morning said the study found that pupils 79% of schools offered sex education to first-year pupils, but just 42% offered it to third-year students, who are more likely to be sexually active.
