Elderly Galway priest retires after fathering child

A 73-year-old priest has reportedly retired from his position in rural Galway following revelations that he has fathered a child with a 31-year-old woman.

Reports this morning said the priest had been working as a curate in the Diocese of Clonfert until two weeks' ago.
