Labour slams Govt failure on state-board gender targets

The Labour Party has criticised the Government's failure to meet targets for improving female representation on state boards.

A target of 40% female representation was set more than 10 years ago, but Labour spokesperson Kathleen Lynch said the most recent figures showed women still made up just 32% of positions.
