Man dead after Limerick house fire

A man in his late 20s has been killed in a house fire in Limerick.

It is believed the victim was a Polish national.

The fire broke out at a house at Lyradane Avenue in Woodview Park in the city at about 3am today.

The man's body is still at the scene, where a technical examination is due to be carried out.

Gardaí say they believe the blaze was accidental.
