Rail agency insists LUAS tram system is totally safe

The Railway Procurement Agency has repeated its insistence that the LUAS tram service in Dublin is totally safe.

The assurance follows fresh reports yesterday about potential problems with the construction materials beneath the tracks on the two LUAS lines.
