Health officials monitoring Cork meningitis case

Health officials in Co Cork are monitoring a patient with bacterial meningitis, one of the most serious forms of the disease.

The Health Service Executive has confirmed that one case of meningococcal meningitis has been identified in the Dunmanway area, while two other suspected cases are also under investigation.
