Sinnott dig continues
A search will resume today for the body of Wexford woman Fiona Sinnott, who has been missing for eight years.
At first light this morning, a team of 14 gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation was set to begin the excavation of a field in Killinick in south Wexford. It is believed they will be assisted by a number of archaeologists.
The 19-year-old mother of one has been missing since February 1998.
She was last seen leaving a pub near her home in the Wexford village of Broadway.
Gardaí have been treating her disappearance as a murder investigation. Last September, six people were arrested in connection with the inquiry, but they were later released without charge.
