Many Travellers still living like second-class citizens

Many Irish Travellers are still living like second-class citizens, according to a new report from the Department of Justice.

The report says 8.6% of Traveller families continue to live on unauthorised sites along the sides of roads, with a further 13% living in basic halting sites.
