Festive drink-driving arrests up 14% on last year

The number of people arrested for drink-driving during the Garda's annual festive road safety crackdown is up almost 14% on the figure for last year.

Three hundred and twenty people have been detained for driving under the influence of alcohol since the operation got underway on November 27.
