The company building a waste incinerator near Duleek in Co Meath is to lodge a new planning application.

It wants to be able to process an additional 50 thousand tonnes per annum at the proposed Carranstown facility.

An Bord Pleanala recently approved its original planning application for a waste licence for 150 thousand tonnes a year.

Indaver Ireland is also starting a consultation programme, which will be running this month.
