Rail campaigners raise concerns over funding for Navan line
Campaigners for the Navan rail line have raised concerns over proposed funding for the project.
A spokesman said the Transport Minister announced funding of €1.7m next year towards reopening the line, but the group claims the funding is only sufficient to cover four miles of the 26 mile train track.
The Government said financial support for the Dublin to Navan line is provided for under the Transport 21 scheme.
