An Irishman in his 30s has died from injuries he sustained in a mugging in Prague over the weekend.

An Irishman in his 30s has died from injuries he sustained in a mugging in Prague over the weekend.

Carlow man Fergal Barry had been fighting for his life since being assaulted while on holiday in the Czech capital.

He died in hospital at around 5am this morning.
