The Irish Traveller Movement has accused the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern of breaking promises to them, saying that there are over 600 families living on roadsides without water or electricity.

The Irish Traveller Movement has accused the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern of breaking promises to them, saying that there are over 600 families living on roadsides without water or electricity.

At a conference today marking Traveller Focus week, the group said it wants to meet with Mr Ahern to urge him to deliver on legislation introduced in 1998.
