Traditional camping sites for Travellers must be re-established across the island of Ireland as nomadism among the community will not die out, it was claimed today.

The Irish Traveller Movement has accused the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern of breaking promises to them, saying that there are over 600 families living on roadsides without water or electricity.
