Ireland ranked bottom of environmental league table

Ireland has reportedly been ranked at the bottom of a new European league table for environmental protection.

Reports this morning said Ireland was ranked worst of the 32 countries involved because of its failure to meet EU targets in several areas, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
