Garda assault trial begins

A jury has been sworn in for the trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court of a man for the alleged assault of a garda and a security officer.

Moses O’Conner (aged 25), Northumberland Drive, Dun Laoghaire pleaded not guilty to the assault of garda Cian Long and Mr Bobbie Jenkins causing them harm at Marine Road on April 30, 2003.
