Irish Ferries sailing from France may be cancelled
Irish Ferries may have to cancel the sailing of the MV Normandy from France tonight.
The Irish Ferries dispute was set to escalate further when port workers said they would not handle a ferry due to arrive from France tomorrow.
International maritime law states that a ship may not embark from a port if the destination port is not available to them.
The MV Normandy was due to leave on an overnight crossing to Rosslare, but port workers there, and their counterparts in Dublin, announced they would turn the vessel away when it arrived.
