A conference being held in Dublin today has suggested that Irish children are becoming more racist.

A conference being held in Dublin today has suggested that Irish children are becoming more racist.

The talks also centred on the fact that parents are passing on their prejudices to children as young as three.

Trocaire’s Education Officer, Sheila Dillon, who spoke at the conference, said it’s increasingly important that youngsters understand and respect the differences between cultures and each other, given the growing number of non-nationals living here.
