Driving conditions are hazardous in many parts of the country this morning following overnight snowfalls and plummeting temperatures.

Donegal, Sligo, Longford and Monaghan all experienced heavy snows overnight, but light falls have been reported as far south as Dublin and the Wicklow mountains.
